Before we listed our old house for sale, we knew we needed to update the kitchen. It had espresso brown cabinets and outdated light fixtures. Our goal was to brighten up the space while giving it a fresh new look. We had the cabinets painted, replaced knobs, changed pendant lights, and added new barstools – the most economical way possible – and we kept our backsplash and granite countertop because it provided a nice contrast.
Just these small tweaks completely transformed the space! It was a completely new kitchen!
So much so, that we ended up selling our house just a month after the remodel! (for full asking price!)
TIP: Get low wattage & soft finish bulbs for chandeliers. The high wattage bulbs provide too much of a prism look.
